Part spy game.

Part workplace mystery.

All seriously useful.

What to Expect

Step inside a fictional company in the middle of an unfolding cyber incident. You’ll work with your team, respond to realistic messages and situations, make decisions under pressure and see how everyday actions can either strengthen or weaken an organisation’s security.

❋ Step Inside a Cyber Incident

Rather than hearing about cyber threats, participants experience one unfolding around them through realistic emails, messages, requests, conversations and workplace activity.

❋ Experience How Social Engineering Works

The simulation demonstrates how attackers exploit trust, authority, urgency, curiosity and everyday workplace behaviour to manipulate people without them necessarily realising it.

❋ See How an Incident Comes Together

Individual actions may seem harmless in isolation. Participants see how phishing, access, information sharing, impersonation and human behaviour can combine to create a much larger cyber incident.

❋ Unpack What Really Happened

The debrief reveals the attacks, warning signs and manipulation techniques hidden throughout the experience, connecting them to real-world cyber incidents and practical behaviours participants can use afterwards.

  • “Cyber security shouldn’t be about turning everyone into a cyber expert. It should be about giving people the confidence, awareness and practical habits to recognise when something isn’t right, understand how they’re being influenced, and know what to do next.”

  • “Cyber security is serious, but learning about it doesn’t have to be. When people are having fun, they engage, remember more, and build the confidence to respond when it really matters.”

  • “Behind many scams are organised criminal networks whose business model is stealing from ordinary people. Cybernao helps people recognise the tactics, resist the manipulation and make themselves a much harder target.”

  • “The next frontier of cyber security is human resilience. As attacks become more sophisticated, organisations and communities need people who can recognise manipulation, resist social engineering and respond safely when technology alone cannot protect them.”

  • “Cyber security is increasingly a contest for human attention, trust and judgement. Building cyber resilience means preparing people to recognise manipulation, challenge what appears credible and interrupt an attack before it becomes a loss.”
